NI_ Natural Intelligence
Natural intelligence. A lot of time in a lot of circles and also with a lot of discussions to which I am called on the way, the common question is asked (at least around me) art? Art for offices? art? Offices? Sure? So I'll start with a clear, straightforward and very emphatic answer. Yes! Art for offices. Art that is not purchased on the basis of "Prepare me", But is created and produced from the connection between the artist and the content and the values of the company. Through this you can make a statement that is not only about the branding of the company or decorative visual elements, but an artistic decoding of the company's values, the basis on which it sits, the space in which the company is located and more and more elements / algorithms that make up the final piece. And no! I don't see it as a significant difference from exhibiting in one museum or another, Just like trying to relate some sort of theme to a curator in every museum I was named and / or I will read later on. There is always some theme. (Certainly in group shows) and there are always boundary boundaries. And me? I'm from those who love boundaries. They create the way to break through and open, to be creative and to produce. In the era we live in, art expresses itself in different and unconventional spaces. I can say with complete confidence that what you are going to see can certainly stand in an exhibition at one location or another But what does it express and does it fit the same position? So here it is. Because that's where it's meant and here's the connection. Time? This time the offices of Natural Intelligence Designed by Roy David Architecture
So I was asked to propose my curatorial concept to 9,000 square meters of office space I will not see you in details that consist of a whole year's process From concept meetings, through meetings with Roy David Corinne Benari to understanding the territories and the hierarchy, choosing the exact locations to connect space design and the artistic elements that will enter the space, through the presentation of the concept to the amazing clients, Neta Feller Idan Weissben, even though the road was long and sometimes not easy She managed to sharpen for me and for them the need for art, the design language, the interest that art can be both humorous, serious, cynical, deep and most interesting. (This is quite a short year) But most importantly? Not everyone should love her. But everyone, literally everyone must respond to it. So I embroidered four wonderful creators next to me from completely different disciplines that I saw as being able to express the values of society, (And yes it does have an agenda for society, it has values and has a desire to see the artistic expressions of those values And in art as in art, sometimes the products are more structured and more clearly tell the values and sometimes less) These were the long brackets in the world. Anyway where were we ?! Yes. So four wonderful creators Who, too, were wondering at first. How do you pour values into art? How to deal with value like win together? And I remember saying: Think about being asked to show in the show that her theme is Claim it. That it will communicate clearly is unclear. The ones who say there are values should not worry or change your work. You've been selected because your artistic line fits the concept I built, fits the design and can express content differently.
The concept I built is:
'weaving' I wanted to weave between content worlds, between materials, between disciplines, between artists. To create a homogeneous connection between a number of parts that make up the whole and to achieve the result that art is an integral part of the project and whose presence is not eye-popping. Everything is all handmade, A reference to ancient work traditions, thus creating a look that marks the unique workings of the elements for this project through the preservation of the artistic language that already exists within each artist and artist. All the works are spread over three floors and although there are completely different artists here. There is language. There is a colorful language, there is a handmade language, there is a 3D and there is video art (if I am not mistaken, these are the first offices in the country with 5 specially created video art works for them) Each and every one of us brought ourselves to expression in an unfamiliar space and the ability to adapt to the space required flexibility and creativity in both thought and practicality. Thank you for joining this crazy project, thank you for endless patience, for creativity, for art for its own sake. And for that wonderful connection.
Natalie Feldesman on the video art about the exact mappings and the line that connects all of us (creators) with visual in motion.
